Welcome To Hinckley Chamber
Welcome to the community of Hinckley, Minnesota. We are located about 80 miles north of Minneapolis and about 70 miles south of Duluth on Interstate 35.
Hinckley is most famous for its fire of 1894. The city recognizes it with one of the finest museums in the state. It holds many items and stories from that infamous day.
Our city boasts of its fine and long established businesses. We have first-rate community events that go on throughout the year. The Hinckley Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to participate in the city’s numerous annual activities which include: The Easter Egg Hunt, all-city garage sale, and the Chamber Golf outing. Our oldest and most noted event is the annual Corn & Clover Carnival normally held the first week-end in July. Our local businesses have shown their appreciation to the community by sponsoring this event for over 75 years. Some of the businesses that sponsored the beginning Carnivals are still in operation today. The event is marked by a large community parade, a fun filled midway, pancake breakfast, live entertainment, bingo stand, and lots of food. Fall brings on the annual craft fair, which is growing every year on the opening weekend of deer hunting in November. Along with the craft fair held in the Hinckley High School, many homes and businesses have opened their doors to show their unique crafts. Winter starts off with our annual Santa Days, where adults and children join the holiday spirit.
We welcome all visitors to our friendly city. Take some time to shop and dine in our town. You will discover friendly people, excellent service, and that delightful small town charm.
