The City of Hinckley is located in west central Pine County, approximately 80 miles north of the Twin Cities, and approximately 70 miles south of Duluth. Interstate 35 passes through Hinckley, which has profound impacts on the business patterns of the City. Also passing through Hinckley is State Hwy 48, serving as the major recreation route to eastern Pine County.
