The Food Shelf helps low income residents meet their needs and actively engages volunteers.  Area Churches provide volunteers to help distribute food. Food is purchased primarily through Second Harvest Heartland who works closely with food shelves, food pantries and other meal programs.

The Braham Area Food Shelf is open each Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to noon.  It is located at the South entry to the Braham Event Center.

The Alice Studt Library is located at the North entry to the Braham Event Center.  This library is a link site with the East Central Minnesota Regional Library system.  The East Central Link Site Librarian is available for checkouts on Mondays from noon to 4:00 p.m.  The librarian also has library cards available! 


The Library provides convenient access to library resources, including computers for job search, Star Tribune Newspaper, Book Shelves placed in the Braham Laundromat and Braham Area Food Shelf for additional accessibility to books.

Services & Products:
Please plan to spend enough time inside to enjoy our short film explaining the conditions that led to the fire and to walk through our many exhibits. Because the museum closes each day at 5:00 p.m., we ask that you arrive no later than 4:15 p.m. We have a great story to tell and it takes a little time!
The museum is open from May 1 through Mid-October each year.
